It’s been a while
Wednesday, October 5, 20051349 posts, 2901 comments, 3 different URLs, 3 different locations (Wrexham, Guildford, London), 14 redesigns, over 1000 images, 190,000 unique visits… and so much besides.
This weblog is 5 years old today, and it’s only just struck me quite how different my life would be if I’d never started it in the first place. I wouldn’t be in my current job, I would never have met an unreasonable number of lovely folk, and so much other inexplicable stuff besides.
Here’s to five more years of nonsense.

Happy weblog’niversary
and all the best for the next years to come !
Here for the 2902 nd comments !

Ah - thanks for posting those old photos - oh, the memories! And you’ve saved me from a boring afternoon at work. Your photos from ‘the day Beany fell down the toilet’ made me laugh out loud - so I obviously had to pretend I was coughing so as not to arouse suspicion that I wasn’t doing work.
Happy 5th Brithday Weblog!

Glad to have met you too, man! Congrats on the milestone. And holy shit, mine’s coming up in less than three weeks…!

I’m coming up on 4 years now, excluding my many hiatuses (hiati?), which is hard to believe.
Happy Birthday!

Happy Blogday (belatedly).
One thing that always annoys me when I look back is that I don’t have stats for all the years (two stats sites died on me). Boo hiss. Still, I know that at LEAST 7 people have looked at my site this week so things are looking up!!

Keep up the good work ar kid. Your photos remind me of the days when hangovers were over by elevenses, Central Station was the place to be and when there was a male member of the Crompton family who had hair. Your site is much viewed over here in Bangalore.
