Thursday, October 13, 2005Now I’ve discovered freecycle.org, I may never go to a normal shop ever again. Some of the items that people offer are amazing:
- Garden gate,black wrought iron
- 2 large art deco style arm chairs
- about 2 cases of clothes from the 1970s plus assorted fabrics
- Surbiton (though I think this may have been a misunderstanding of how the list worked)

Over here in Nz we have inorganics day, where everybody puts all their crap out on the street for the binmen, so you can just cruise around in your car picking up old tables, plastic supersoaker guns, couches with mysterious stains, and massive backlit Speights lager signs.
And then theres trademe.co.nz, with its “$1 reserve auctions about to close” page …

Freecycle almost made me the most popular person in London a month or so back, when I gave away my old PC on it. I felt so SPECIAL! *swoon*
