- Al Gore's $30k-a-year inconvenient truth :: Smartly written article in the Guardian about Al Gore's excessive energy consumption. I've yet to see An Inconvenient Truth, but judging from the reactions of others it's pretty powerful - I hope this news doesn't undermine its message and intent.
- Geek | Manager :: Productivity and efficiency are at the heart of the first few posts in this new weblog by Meri Williams.
- Oh flip! :: It's pancake day. I will be mostly stuffing my face and feeling grim.
- Egg on your face :: Well, head actually. Some guy has a full English breakfast tattooed on his head. Silly sausage.
- Magazines vs. The Web: End of an Era :: Slightly one-sided but sensible article comparing print magazines with their online counterparts. {via}
- I Hate Macs, by Charlie Brooker :: Vitriol much? "The only way to have fun with a Mac is to poke its insufferable owner in the eye." I can't imagine his reaction to the fact that as the Guardian ran the story, their website was covered with Mitchell & Webb mac ads (screenshot at linkmonkeys)...
- When the sea level rises... :: Google maps mashup showing potential flooding due to global warming - I've linked to a map of London with the sea level 14m higher (slightly ridiculous). Great if you like messing around in boats.
