It’s alive!
November 5, 2011The disgustingly terrifying Hoxton Street Monster Supplies store in east London now allows monsters of all shapes and sneezes to shop online at monstersupplies.org.
The Monster Supplies store, staffed entirely by volunteer zombies, is a front for the Ministry of Stories, a children’s literacy charity helping local kids find their inner storytellers. An awesome project, and the Monsters at the Supplies store do their share by contributing proceeds from selling earwax to this worthy cause.
The site is a result of the work of mighty volunteer team Chris Meachin, Mike Towber, Gavin & Jason Fox, Alistair Hall at We Made This, and myself. It’s the first site build & integration (Shopify) I’ve done in a while and it was a lot of fun. And there was Unicorn Pie at the launch party, courtesy of the Marvellous Ms Cakehead:
